Arvind Venkatesan
Arvind is a life sciences leader with over a decade of experience across biomedical research,
strategic consulting, and commercial leadership in pharma and genomics. As Head of
Commercialization, he drives global product and service launches, market expansion, and strategic
partnerships for the company’s diagnostics and gene editing businesses.
Prior to Crisprbits, Arvind led strategic initiatives and global partnerships at MedGenome, where he
built diagnostics alliances across Asia, Africa, and LATAM, and launched a SaaS bioinformatics
platform. He also headed a team of R&D scientists at Syngene International, delivering cell-based
assays and CRISPR gene editing solutions for top pharmaceutical clients. He has also worked as a
management consultant with L.E.K. Consulting and support healthcare & life science companies on
market entry and commercial strategy initiatives.
Arvind holds a PhD in Cancer Biology from the University of Massachusetts Medical School,
where his research on gene discovery in melanomas led to a novel patent and multiple high-impact
publications. He also earned an MBA from the Indian School of Business, strengthening his
expertise in business strategy and healthcare markets.
